حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ رَأَى الطِّينَ فِي أَنْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَرْنَبَتِهِ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ وَكَانُوا مُطِرُوا مِنْ اللَّيْلِ
English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah ibn Abdur-Rahman, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), that he saw mud on the nose of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and on his forehead — meaning from the traces of clay [from prostrating on the ground in the masjid].
