English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, Abu al-Sahba' narrated to us, who said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrating from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) — I do not know except that he raised it [to the Prophet ﷺ] — he said: "When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his limbs humble themselves before the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, for we are dependent on you. If you are upright, we are upright, and if you are crooked, we are crooked.'"
