حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي مُزَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا جُلُوسًا يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَدْعُونَ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ سَكَتْنَا فَقَ
الَ أَلَيْسَ كُنْتُمْ تَصْنَعُونَ كَذَا وَكَذَا قُلْنَا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاصْنَعُوا كَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَصْنَعُونَ وَجَلَسَ مَعَنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبْشِرُوا صَعَالِيكَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ بِالْفَوْزِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِخَمْسِ مِائَةٍ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ سَنَةً

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, al-Mu'alla ibn Ziyad informed us, who said: al-'Ala' narrated to me — a man from Banu Muzaynah — from Abu al-Siddiq al-Naji, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The earth will cast out the pieces of its liver — he said: pillars of gold and silver. The murderer will come and say: 'For this I killed.' The one who severed ties of kinship will come and say: 'For this I severed my ties.' The thief will come and say: 'For this my hand was cut off.' Then they will leave it and will not take anything from it."
