حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عِيَاضَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ يُصَلِّي تَيْنِكَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ
English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Dawud ibn Qays informed us that he heard 'Iyad ibn 'Abdullah narrating that he heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) narrating that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go out on the two Eids and give the khutbah to the people. He would come to the women and admonish them, reminding them, and command them to give charity. Often a woman would throw her ring or earring, and Bilal would collect them in his garment.
