English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Qays who said: 'Iyad narrated to me, Abu Sa'id narrated to me who said: the Prophet ﷺ used to go out on the day of Eid — Yahya said: I do not know it except in the Fitr and Adha — to the prayer ground. The first thing he would begin with was the prayer. Then he would stand facing the people and admonish them, advise them, and command them. If he intended to dispatch an army or command something, he would do so. He said: And he continued doing this.
