Waki' narrated to us, Ibn Abi Layla narrated to us, from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, regarding His saying: 'The Day when some of the signs of your Lord come, no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or had earned some good through its faith' [6:158]. He said: "The rising of the sun from its place of setting."
