English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) — I heard him narrating — he said: I attended two wedding feasts of the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He did not serve the guests more at either one. He said: He prepared hays [a dish of dates, butter, and cheese] and bread.
