حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَزْهَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ ب

ْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَسْتَضِيئُوا بِنَارِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَا تَنْقُشُوا خَوَاتِيمَكُمْ عَرَبِيًّا

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, al-'Awwam informed us, al-Azhar ibn Rashid narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not seek light from the fire of the polytheists" — meaning: do not consult them in your affairs. "And do not engrave rings with Arabic [inscriptions]."
