‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏هُشَيْمٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَعْتَقَ ‏ ‏صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ ‏ ‏وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا ‏ ‏صَدَاقَهَا ‏

English Translation

Hushaym narrated to us, from Abdul-'Aziz ibn Suhayb, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ freed Safiyyah bint Huyayy and made her emancipation her dowry.
