حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ أَخَذَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِيَدِي فَانْطَلَقَ بِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّه
ِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَنَسًا غُلَامٌ كَيِّسٌ فَلْيَخْدُمْكَ قَالَ فَخَدَمْتُهُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْحَضَرِ وَاللَّهِ مَا قَالَ لِي لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا هَكَذَا وَلَا لِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أَصْنَعْهُ لِمَ لَمْ تَصْنَعْ هَذَا هَكَذَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Abdul-'Aziz ibn Suhayb narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Madinah, Abu Talhah took me by the hand and brought me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, Anas is an intelligent boy, let him serve you." He said: So I served him during travel and at home. By Allah, he never said to me about anything I did: "Why did you do that like this?" or about anything I did not do: "Why did you not do that like this?"
