حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَن
ْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ فَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ نِطْعًا فَيَقِيلُ عَلَيْهِ فَتَأْخُذُ مِنْ عَرَقِهِ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي طِيبِهَا وَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ الْخُمْرَةَ فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا

English Translation
Abdul-Wahhab ibn Abd al-Majid narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Anas ibn Sirin, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit Umm Sulaym and she would offer him dates and ghee. She had an orphan named Anas. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would see him and say to him: "O Abu 'Umayr, what happened to the little bird [nughayr]?" — referring to a small bird he used to play with.
