English Translation

Ibn Abi 'Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, who said: Anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked about the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: We never wished to see him praying at night except that we saw him praying, and we never wished to see him sleeping except that we saw him sleeping.
