Ibn Abi 'Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: We used to be pleased when a man from the desert came to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ questions. A Bedouin came and said: "O Muhammad, your messenger came to us and claimed that you claim that Allah sent you." He said: "He has spoken the truth." He said: "Who created the heaven?" He said: "Allah." He said: "Who created the earth?" He said: "Allah." He said: "Who raised these mountains?" He said: "Allah." He said: "By the One who created the heaven and created the earth and raised these mountains, has Allah sent you?" He said: "Yes." The man then asked about zakah, prayer, fasting, and Hajj, and the Prophet ﷺ confirmed each. The man said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, I will not add to these nor fall short of them." When he turned away, the Prophet ﷺ said: "If he is truthful, he will enter Paradise."
