حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقَصْرٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْر
ُ قَالُوا لِشَابٍّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قُلْتُ لِمَنْ قَالُوا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ فَلَوْلَا مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْ غَيْرَتِكَ لَدَخَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغَارُ

English Translation
Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I entered Paradise and found a palace of gold. I said: Whose palace is this? They said: For a young man from the Quraysh. I said: For whom? They said: For 'Umar ibn al-Khattab.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Abu Hafs, had it not been for what I know of your jealousy, I would have entered it.' 'Umar said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who would I be jealous of regarding you?'
