English Translation

Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated from Humayd who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) said: 'I have never touched any silk or brocade softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor have I ever smelled any fragrance more pleasant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years, and he never once said to me 'Uff!' nor did he ever say about anything I did: 'Why did you do that?' or about anything I did not do: 'Why did you not do that?'
