English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Haywah narrated to me, Ibn al-Had narrated to me, from 'Abdullah ibn Khabbab, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If one of you sees a dream that he likes, it is from Allah (عز وجل), so let him praise Allah for it and narrate it to others. And if he sees something other than that which he dislikes, it is from Shaytan, so let him seek refuge from its evil and not mention it to anyone, for it will not harm him.'
