حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَ

نْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَاطَّلَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ مَعَهُ فَتَأَخَّرَ الرَّجُلُ

English Translation

Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in his house when a man peeked inside. He moved toward the man with a broad arrowhead he had, and the man retreated. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Had you remained, I would have struck your eye with it. Permission was prescribed only because of sight.'
