حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَالْخَفَّافُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَل
َّمَ قَالَ مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ وَاشْتَدَّ قَوْلُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ حَتَّى قَالَ لَيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَّ أَبْصَارُهُمْ

English Translation
Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated from Sa'id, and Ibn Ja'far narrated from Sa'id, and al-Khaffaf from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ said: 'What is the matter with people who raise their eyes to the sky during prayer?' He was so severe about that until he said: 'They must stop that, or their eyesight will be snatched away.'
