English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah (عز وجل) has one hundred mercies. He has sent down one mercy among the jinn, mankind, animals, and insects, and by it they show compassion to one another, and by it they show mercy to one another, and by it the wild animal shows tenderness to her young. And Allah has withheld ninety-nine mercies by which He will show mercy to His servants on the Day of Resurrection.'
