English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn Bahdala, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah has one hundred mercies with Him. Ninety-nine of them He has stored with Himself, and He has sent down one mercy to the earth. By that one mercy, creatures show compassion to one another, to the extent that a mare lifts her hoof away from her foal lest she harm it.'
