English Translation

Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that qasim al-Rahhal heard Anas (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Prophet ﷺ (عليه الصلاة والسلام) entered some ruins belonging to Banu al-Najjar, and he would relieve himself there. He came out to us alarmed — or frightened — and said: 'Were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would have asked Allah to let you hear the punishment of the grave that I hear.' Then he said: 'Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the Fire, and from the punishment of the grave, and from the trial of the living and the dead, and from the trial of the False Messiah.'
