حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَب

English Translation

Yahya narrated from Sufyan, from 'Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm who said: I heard Anas (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman would complete the takbir — they would say the takbir when going down and when rising.
