حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْيَمَنِ لَمَّا قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّه

ِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلُوهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ مَعَهُمْ رَجُلًا يُعَلِّمُهُمْ فَبَعَثَ مَعَهُمْ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ وَقَالَ هُوَ أَمِينُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ

English Translation

Yazid ibn Harun informed us from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that when the people of Yemen came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: 'The people of Yemen have come to you. They are the first to come with the handshake (musafahah).'
