‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَزْرَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏إِذَا شَرِبَ تَنَفَّسَ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثًا ‏ ‏وَكَانَ ‏ ‏أَنَسٌ ‏ ‏يَتَنَفَّسُ ثَلَاثًا ‏

English Translation

Abu 'Ubaydah narrated to us from 'Azrah ibn Thabit, from Thumamah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Anas, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ used to breathe two or three times while drinking. And Anas used to breathe three times while drinking.
