حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَال
َ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ فِي قِصَصِهِ كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فَلَا أَدْرِي ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَمْ قَالَهُ قَتَادَةُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah saying: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I was sent and the Hour are like these two' — and he extended his two fingers. Shu'bah said: And I heard Qatadah say in his narration: 'Like the superiority of one of them over the other.'
