Mu'adh ibn Hisham al-Dastawa'i narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me from Yunus, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ never ate from a raised dining table, nor from a sukurrujah (small dish), nor was thin bread baked for him.' I asked: 'Then what did they eat on?' He said: 'On these leather mats.'
