َمَا أَعْلَمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَغِيفًا مُرَقَّقًا وَلَا شَاةً سَمِيطًا قَطُّ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِرَبِّهِ

English Translation

Bahz and 'Affan narrated to us, both saying: Hammam ibn Yahya narrated to us from Qatadah who said: We used to visit Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) while his baker was standing by. One day he said: 'Eat, for I do not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever saw a thin flatbread or a roasted sheep until he met Allah (عز وجل).'
