عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَكَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ بِ { الْحَمْدُ }

English Translation
Sufyan narrated from Abu Ayyub, from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: I prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and 'Umar, and they would begin with 'al-Hamdu lillahi Rabb al-'Alamin' — they did not mention 'Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim' at the beginning or end of the recitation.
