حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ يَعْنِي سَمِعَ مِنْ أَنَسٍ يَقُولُ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْأَنْصَارَ لِيُ
قْطِعَ لَهُمْ الْبَحْرَيْنِ فَقَالُوا لَا حَتَّى تُقْطِعَ لِإِخْوَانِنَا مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّكُمْ سَتَلْقَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي

English Translation
Sufyan narrated from Yahya — it was said to Sufyan: meaning he heard from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ summoned the Ansar to grant them land in Bahrain. They said: 'Not until you grant the same to our brothers from the Muhajirun.' He said: 'You will find others preferred over you after me, so be patient until you meet me at the Hawd (the Pool).'
