حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأُبَيِّ ب
ْنِ كَعْبٍ أَمَرَنِي رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ أُبَيٌّ أَوَسَمَّانِي لَكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَبَكَى أُبَيٌّ

English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar informed us from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said to Ubayy ibn Ka'b (رضي الله عنه): 'My Lord (عز وجل) commanded me to recite the Quran to you.' Ubayy said: 'Did He name me to you?' He said: 'Yes.' Ubayy said: 'Was I mentioned before the Lord of the Worlds?' He said: 'Yes.' So his eyes overflowed with tears.
