حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ شَقَّ عَلَى الْأَنْصَارِ النَّوَاضِحُ فَاجْتَمَعُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْأَلُونَهُ أَنْ يُجْرِيَ لَهُمْ نَهْرًا سَيْحًا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرْحَبًا بِالْأَنْصَارِ وَاللَّهِ لَا تَ
سْأَلُونِي الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَيْتُكُمُوهُ وَلَا أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَكُمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَانِيهِ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ اغْتَنِمُوهَا وَاطْلُبُوا الْمَغْفِرَةَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَنَا بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: al-Mubarak narrated to us from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'The camels used for irrigation became a hardship for the Ansar, so they gathered before the Prophet ﷺ asking him to dig a channel for them. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Welcome to the Ansar, welcome to the Ansar! By Allah, you will not ask me for anything today except that I will give it to you, and I will not ask Allah for anything for you except that He will grant it. They said: O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah for our forgiveness. He said: O Allah, forgive the Ansar, and the children of the Ansar, and the children of the children of the Ansar.'
