حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ذَلِكَ يَعْنِي لَمَّا وَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ كَرْبِ الْمَوْتِ مَا وَجَدَ قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ وَا كَرْبَاهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ
سَلَّمَ يَا بُنَيَّةُ إِنَّهُ قَدْ حَضَرَ بِأَبِيكِ مَا لَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِتَارِكٍ مِنْهُ أَحَدًا لِمُوَافَاةِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: al-Mubarak narrated to us from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: When Fatimah (رضي الله عنها) said that — meaning when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ experienced the severity of death's agony — Fatimah said: 'O my father's distress!' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no distress for your father after today.' When he passed away, she said: 'O my father, his Lord has answered his call! O my father, his abode is the Garden of al-Firdaws! O my father, to Jibril we announce the news of his passing!' When he was buried, Fatimah said: 'O Anas, are your hearts content that you have poured earth upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?'
