Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ
Body (Matn)
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ إِذَا ابْتُلِيَ عَبْدِي بِحَبِيبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَبَرَ عَوَّضْتُهُ مِنْهُمَا الْجَنَّةَ يُرِيدُ عَيْنَيْهِ
English Translation
Yunus narrated to us: Layth narrated to us from Zayd — meaning Ibn al-Had — from 'Amr, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Allah (عز وجل) said: When I test My servant with his two beloved ones (his eyes) and he shows patience, I compensate him with Paradise.'
