English Translation

Isma'il informed us from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the time of the Fajr prayer. He ordered Bilal to call the prayer when dawn broke, and he established the prayer. Then the next day he delayed it until it was well-lit. Then he said: 'Where is the one who asked about the time of the prayer? The time is between these two.'
