حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَحْلِق

َ الْحَجَّامُ رَأْسَهُ أَخَذَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ شَعَرَ أَحَدِ شِقَّيْ رَأْسِهِ بِيَدِهِ فَأَخَذَ شَعَرَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ فَكَانَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ تَدُوفُهُ فِي طِيبِهَا

English Translation

Hasan narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted the barber to shave his head, Abu Talhah (رضي الله عنه) took the hair from one side of his head and gave it to Umm Sulaym (رضي الله عنها).'
