حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ تُعْجِبُهُ الْفَاغِيَةُ وَكَانَ أَعْجَبُ الطَّعَامِ إِلَيْهِ الدُّبَّاءَ
English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Sulayman — meaning Ibn Kathir — narrated to us, Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be pleased with al-faghiyah (henna blossom fragrance), and the most pleasing food to him was gourd (al-dubba').
