‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏جَعْفَرٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏ثَابِتٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَكُونُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَيَقْرَأُ سُورَةً خَفِيفَةً مِنْ أَجْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَبُكَاءِ الصَّبِيِّ ‏

English Translation

Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Ja'far narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be in prayer and would recite a short surah on account of the woman (needing to attend to something) and the crying of a child.
