English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No soul that dies and has goodness with Allah would wish to return to the world, even if it were given the entire world and all that is in it, except the martyr. He would wish to return to the world to be killed ten times, because of what he sees of the honor [of martyrdom].'
