English Translation

Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Fulayh ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Hilal — meaning Ibn 'Ali — from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was never a reviler, nor indecent in speech, nor a curser. He would say to one of us when reproaching: 'What is wrong with him? May his forehead be dusty (i.e., may he prostrate much).'
