English Translation
Abu Kamil — whose name is Muzaffar ibn Mudrik — narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ would fast until it was said: 'He is fasting, he is fasting (i.e., continuously).' And he would break his fast until it was said: 'He is not fasting, he is not fasting (i.e., continuously).' And I never saw him pray any voluntary night prayer except that I also saw him not praying it, and I never saw him sleeping except that I also saw him praying.
