حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْ

هِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ ثَمَرَةِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى تَزْهُوَ قِيلَ لِأَنَسٍ مَا تَزْهُو قَالَ تَحْمَرُّ

English Translation
Yahya narrated from Humayd who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked about the sale of fruit on the tree. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited selling the fruit of palm trees until they show color. It was said to Anas: 'What does showing color mean?' He said: 'Until they turn red or yellow.'
