حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ صَبَّحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ بُكْرَةً وَقَدْ خَرَجُوا بِالْمَسَاحِي فَلَمَّ
ا نَظَرُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا مُحَمَّدٌ وَالْخَمِيسُ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَيْهِ وَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ خَرِبَتْ خَيْبَرُ إِنَّا إِذَا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ attacked Khaybar in the early morning. The people had gone out with their shovels. When they saw him, they said: 'Muhammad! Muhammad and the army!' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed. When we descend upon the courtyard of a people, evil is the morning for those who were warned.' He took it (Khaybar) by force and gathered the captives. Dihyah (رضي الله عنه) came and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, give me a girl from the captives.' He said: 'Go and take a girl.' He took Safiyyah bint Huyayy. A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'You gave Dihyah Safiyyah bint Huyayy — the chief lady of Quraydhah and al-Nadir — she is not befitting except for you.' He said: 'Call him and bring her.' He looked at her and said to Dihyah: 'Take another girl from the captives.' the Prophet ﷺ freed her and married her.
