English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Sidrat al-Muntaha (the Lote Tree of the Farthest Boundary) was raised for me in the seventh heaven. Its fruits were like the large vessels of Hajar, and its leaves were like the ears of elephants.' He said: 'Four rivers came out from its base: two hidden (internal) rivers and two visible (external) rivers.' He said: 'The two hidden ones are in Paradise, and the two visible ones are the Nile and the Euphrates.'
