حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ } أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هُوَ نَهَرٌ فِي الْج
َنَّةِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَيْتُ نَهْرًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), regarding the saying of Allah عز وجل: {Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar}, that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'It is a river in Paradise.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'I saw a river in Paradise whose banks were domes of pearls. I said: What is this, O Jibril? He said: This is al-Kawthar which your Lord has given you.' He struck its clay with his hand and found it to be fragrant musk.
