حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ مُنَادِيَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَادَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يَنْهَيَانِكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ فَإِنَّهَا رِجْسٌ
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that the caller of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called out: 'Indeed, Allah and His Messenger forbid you from eating the meat of domestic donkeys.' The pots were overturned while the meat was boiling in them.
