حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ نَظَرَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضُوءًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَاهُنَا مَاءٌ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَا
ءِ الَّذِي فِيهِ الْمَاءُ ثُمَّ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فَرَأَيْتُ الْمَاءَ يَفُورُ يَعْنِي بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ وَالْقَوْمُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ حَتَّى تَوَضَّئُوا عَنْ آخِرِهِمْ قَالَ ثَابِتٌ قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ كَمْ تُرَاهُمْ كَانُوا قَالَ نَحْوًا مِنْ سَبْعِينَ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked for water for wudu' but could not find any. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Is there any water here?' Water was brought to him, and he placed his hand in the vessel. He said: 'Perform wudu' in the name of Allah.' I saw water flowing from between his fingers until they had all performed wudu'. Thabit said: I said to Anas: 'How many were you?' He said: 'About seventy.'
