English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: When the verse was revealed: {You will never attain righteousness until you spend of what you love} [Al 'Imran 3:92] and {Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan?} [al-Baqarah 2:245], Abu Talhah said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my garden Bayruha is for Allah. Had I been able to make it a secret charity, I would have. I entrust it to you, O Messenger of Allah, to place wherever Allah shows you.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I think you should distribute it among your relatives.' So Abu Talhah distributed it among his relatives.
