English Translation
Yahya narrated from Shu'bah, from al-Taymi, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of Badr: 'Who will go and see what happened to Abu Jahl?' Ibn Mas'ud went and found that the two sons of 'Afra' had struck him until he fell. He grabbed him by his beard and said: 'Are you Abu Jahl?' He said: 'Is there anyone beyond a man whom his people have killed?' — or he said: 'whom you have killed?'
