حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ي

ُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ أَوْ لِجَارِهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ حَجَّاجٌ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us — and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me — he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.'
