حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ الْعِلْمُ وَيَظْهَرَ الْجَهْلُ وَيَفْشُوَ الزِّنَا وَيُشْرَبَ الْخَمْرُ وَيَذْهَ
بَ الرِّجَالُ وَيَبْقَى النِّسَاءُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً قَيِّمٌ وَاحِدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ لَأُحَدِّثَنَّكُمْ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَذْهَبُ الرِّجَالُ وَيَبْقَى النِّسَاءُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us — and Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Shu'bah informed us — he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'Shall I not narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which no one after me will narrate to you who heard it from him? He ﷺ said: Among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will become prevalent, fornication will become widespread, wine-drinking will become common, men will decrease and women will increase until there will be fifty women for one man.'
